Inspired by the Norfolk Fishermen’s Gansey jumpers of the 19th and early 20th centuries, Cooper is a unisex, one size only fisherman’s beanie hat.
It’s namesake was Cutty Cooper, a Sheringham fisherman, working the waters around 1900. His Gansey jumper was rich with fishing iconography which have been translated into the beanie hat, they include: two bands of “ridge and furrow” stitch followed “hailstone” stitch which have then been shaped (fully fashioned) to fit this snug beanie hat.
